With more than 35 years of experience in proxy solicitation and corporate governance, Chuck Garske is a senior leader at Okapi Partners advising companies on some of the most consequential shareholder matters they face. His work spans proxy solicitation campaigns, M&A transactions, contested director elections, and corporate governance consulting, as well as information-agent services for debt transactions and tender offers.

Over the course of his career, Chuck has advised boards and management teams at Fortune 500 companies as well as high-profile activist investors, bringing a seasoned perspective to both sides of contested situations. His counsel is grounded in decades of hands-on execution across a wide range of industries and transaction types.

Prior to joining Okapi Partners in 2011, Chuck spent the bulk of his career at Georgeson Inc., now a unit of Computershare, where he rose to a senior executive role and built his reputation as one of the industry's most experienced proxy professionals.

Chuck holds a B.A. in Accounting from New Jersey City University.
