With more than 30 years of experience advising companies on matters requiring shareholder approval, Jason Alexander is a senior leader at Okapi Partners – one of the most active and highly ranked proxy solicitation firms in the country. His expertise spans proxy solicitation, M&A advisory, and corporate governance consulting, with deep experience serving domestic, Canadian, and multinational companies across all business sectors.

Before joining Okapi, Jason spent over 18 years at Georgeson, where he held senior responsibility across sales, management, and marketing. During that tenure he worked on
transactions for more than 400 companies and spent over three years based in Toronto leading sales and operations management for Georgeson's Canadian business across all product lines. Earlier in his career, he worked as an equity analyst at both Thomson Financial and D.F. King & Co., giving him a strong analytical foundation that has informed his client advisory work ever since.

Jason is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Corporate Governance Professionals. He is a frequent speaker on corporate governance and shareholder activism at conferences and industry organizations nationwide.

Jason holds a B.A. in Sociology from the State University of New York at Albany.
