Nina Aicardi, CFA, is a Managing Director at Okapi Partners focusing on corporate governance matters, contested director elections, M&A, and related investor engagement.

Prior to joining Okapi Partners, Nina was the Head of Corporate Governance, Americas for T. Rowe Price Associates, where she served as the lead governance and engagement specialist for both the investment team and the issuers. Prior to T. Rowe, Nina was a senior member of the Special Situations Group at ISS, where she developed voting recommendations in a number of high-profile proxy contests and contentious M&A situations for ISS' institutional clients. While at ISS, Nina covered contests across all market capitalizations, had extensive engagements with both sides involved in contests, and had opportunities to discuss the contests with investors spanning a variety of strategies. Before ISS, she had over 15 years of investment management and investment banking experience.

Nina received a B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
