Susan Hood is a Senior Managing Director at Okapi Partners focusing on the firm’s marketing, communications and branding initiatives. She also oversees the firm’s technology and infrastructure and ensures Okapi’s operations work for the benefit of clients.

Prior to joining Okapi, Susan spent over 20 years at Bowne & Co., (now R.R. Donnelley) one of the world’s leading filers of regulatory and shareholder communications both online and in print, for clients including public companies, investment managers and compliance officials.

Susan founded the Publishing Division at Bowne, a business segment dedicated to creating products that generated revenue and provided sales support for Bowne’s financial printing division. She also served as VP of Marketing and developed SecuritiesConnect, Bowne’s news information portal.

Susan is a life-long New Yorker and earned a B.S. in Marketing and Management from Fordham University.
